The musical “At all times…Patsy Cline” will play on the Willingham Theater in Yadkinville October 1-3. The manufacturing is a partnership between the Willingham Theater and the Winston-Salem Theater Alliance. Theatre Alliance’s Jamie Lawson will function Director and David Lane as Music Director.
The manufacturing stars Ashley Pearson and Peggie Kaan as Patsy Cline and Louise Seger, and the reside band accompanying the present will embrace David Lane, Allan Beck, Jennifer Lane, Randy Mintz and Shon Minish.
“At all times…Patsy Cline” relies on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. In 1961, when Cline went to Houston for a present, Seger and her buddies arrived early and, by coincidence, met Cline, who was touring alone. The 2 ladies struck up a friendship that was to culminate in Cline spending the evening at Seger’s home – a friendship that lasted till Cline’s premature dying in a aircraft crash in 1963.
Greater than a tribute to the legendary nation singer, the play focuses on the fateful night at Houston’s Esquire Ballroom when Seger hears of Cline’s dying in a aircraft crash. Seger provides a story whereas Cline floats out and in of the set singing tunes that made her well-known – “Anytime,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “She’s Acquired You,” “Candy Desires,” and “Loopy.”
